Talk about branding; I'd forgotten about the M-B dealers!
Might as well kill yerself now as buy a Smart, just in case it goes wrong.

I think it's high time Honda did an equivalent of the Swift Sport/500; new CRX anyone?

Hmm, a low-profile Jazz (in the same way as the old CRX was a chopped up Civic).

The Jazz is a sweet-handling thing, and with a lower centre of gravity, lower weight and a more powerful engine (or just retune the existing one for power rather than economy) could be a really fun little hot hatch...

Exactly.

They would need to give it some steering feel, though.

And it couldn't be TOO low, because the fual tank's under the front seats.

I suppose I should have said a latter-day Z600; they were fun, too!

Would pricing be a problem? Presumably the Swift is very cheap, although as the "Chink" is "Styled", it's presumably overpriced but the stylew@nkers will happily pay.

They won't pay over the odds for a plain ol' Honda, even if it were very pretty.

True. The Swift isn't too bad, it's really the Mini that's premium priced.

The worldwide CRX fan club probably isn't big enough to do it justice.

And fortunately, they've delayed plans to bring Acura here.

Maybe they could give it a Figaro-style coupe-cabriolet cachet as well?
