So long and thanks for all the....
So it is time to move on.
I have had 2 and a half years in the S and had a great time. I always said that if I moved on before the car fell apart it would need to be for a supercar.
I have gone for a 2002 911 Tip Turbo in Polar Silver.
Deposit was placed today, I pick it up a week on Friday and am using the S as Part-Ex.
The Turbos I test-drove were just amazingly fast and really planted. The S started to feel a bit slow! The steering in the Turbo is also very precise. I thought the S steering was pretty good and couldn't understand those who said otherwise, but now I can see why!
They also appear to be the bargain of the century at the moment! I am paying far less than the S was new. Yes I know it is nearly 9 years old but we are talking about a car that cost over £100k new! New ones are now around £130k!
It has been great fun over here and I probably won't disappear completely just yet. I am yet to find a 911 Forum as good as this one is for the S.
cheers

Great choice. They are really fun cars and your right they are a performance bargain, if you get a good one. My advice would be to get very chummy with a local independent pork fixer if you want to use her properly.
