Good news Gad.

BB - I've got 15 points on my licence too, although 9 of them are now inactive (I went from 9pts back down to 6pts on Sunday, )... let's see who can get to 21 first!

Last time I was in court for speeding I took the bus (I was going to be banned anyway) and sat in on some of the early cases. Better than any reality TV show and doesn't cost a penny. Made me feel way better about my situation

sitting in the waiting area was an interesting experience - chav city
Takes me back to Penrith Magistrates Court when I was waiting to appear for my 100+ M6 speeding offence.

Lots of neds/chavs in their dads' suits (presumably to enhance their respectability) looking like this wasn't the first time they'd made an appearance.

A top tip. If you don't want to wait outside the court in the "holding pen", you can wait inside the courtroom. The seats are much more comfy plus you have the benefit of seeing what's going on. This makes your eventual appearance much less stressful ...

Never "been" to court - but done jury service twice. That was enough of an experience for me !

Seeing how a magistrate responds when faced with 'ya knaw what I mean innit' is priceless.

Depends on the location too, obviously.

Bath & Mendip Magistrates Court in...well, Bath funnily enough , is, altough modern, a big, vaulted ceiling type affair. The waiting area stoneflagged, with huge comfy benching etc. Actually a very pleasant environment if it wasn't for your reasons for being there

Reading Magistrates Court on the other hand...well, Saddam's hanging was tasteful and reserved in comparison

Good news Pete - it makes a nice change to see something like this.

I'm expecting an NIP within the next 2 weeks
