But word travelled pretty quickly around his mates , who were all bleating to Ray that I couldnt take his car away from him

I only kept it for a week , that was 5 years ago now , he drives a BMW M Coupe now , i would like to have that off of him for a week

That's a pretty risky strategy - they are getting wise to this here now, (and would I imagine look at anything suspicious) and you would be done for perverting the course of justice, which is viewed very seriously by the courts. Might even carry jail time

After reading the initial post, I seemed to remember something about tolerances in speed cameras. I came across this in a FAQ page on a site called www.Speedcheck.co.uk.

"I received a fixed penalty notice and I was only going 32mph in a 30mph zone.
It would be extremely unusual for any driver to be fined or prosecuted for travelling at 32mph in a 30mph limit. The police do not operate at levels often described as

I can't say enough good things about them, ther are extremely helpful and knowledgable. Their NIP (notice of intended prosecution) wizard is the way forward. Just make sure your girlfriend does not do anything at all with the NIP forms she has been sent until she is sure of what is the best course of action.
