Stone Chip Fairies!
I washed the car yesterday for the first time in months, and it is the strangest thing, but someone has touched up the stone chips on the bonnet
The only person I can think of, is the bodyshop who replaced the front wing, but I would have thought they would've told me when I picked it up
Anyway, not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but they haven't done a great job - instead of little white chips there are now blobs of mis-matching paint. Is there anything I can do to blend them in a bit?

I would say thats quite a skilled job to rub them down and blend them
in. And if the paints not a good colour match then either leave it as you
hadn't noticed for months and be glad any corrosion has been held
off or maybe have Chips Away type outfit come and redo it.
I have seen (while waiting around the dealers) F430's been done by
such an outfit and the results on the chips were 100%, you just could
not see them walking near the car.
(JCT Leeds is Lotus, Ferrari and Mazza by the way)

I had a big scratch (down to bare metal) repaired for free on my sill when I had some other work done. I know it wasn't fairies though. It was a big scruffy bloke called Dave.

I might get the Chips Away people onto it at some point - it's only showing now cos the sun is shining (yay!) although I'm not too sure what they can do with them really.
Am planning to put a bit of money into the scoob this year, sort out the wheels etc., so I might sort out the various unfixed chips, and these weird ones too.
