Just had the mis-fortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time when a load of stones flew up from the car in front and marked my windscreen and took a lovely chip out of my front wing, I tried filling them with touch up paint, letting it dry then using wet and dry to flat it back, whilst its now smooth you can quite obviously see the touch up paint so I need a closer colour match because other than that the repair is fine...

So any suggestions? I know the ideal is to have a full font respray but I'm not prepared to even consider this until the summer when there's a lot less debris on the road.

chips away did a fine job of my silverstone and he gave me some left over paint for touch ups, far closer than Hondas effort.

 

I don't really want to rely on a bloke in a van every time i pick up a stone chip, especially when its around 80 quid a time.
