We need a Swift appreciation society - although I may have Sport envy

Run it for a year, save the deposit extra required and then trade that in for a sport - bargain of a car and a free one is even better

What a coincidence! Just moved back down to Bimshire and had tinterweb installed. The first thing I see is this thread.
Looking at cars to buy down here and found a 2011 Jap import with 3500km for £10k. Had some paint on a rear shunt. Also a 2013 with 15000km for
£13750.
Prices are eye watering!Choice is limited and boil down to Jap imports or main stealer rip off prices.
As the island is only 24x14 miles we will chose between a Yaris, Micra or Swift which is favourite.
Interested to read the views, especially strength of the suspension given the state of the roads.

my old gti was a great little car... I had mk2 in red with full Janspeed, koni adjustables all round and rather sticky yoko (A520 I thin) for the times...

I was 19 and all my mates were pootling around in their mums fiestas.

I was cool.

I'd be keen to try a Sport when we need a second / smaller car. Good job.
