How does the engine sound, much induction or exhaust noise for a 4 cyl?

Do you feel it would handle well on the back roads?

Look forward to the pictures!
Couldn't stretch to the 35is unfortunately. Never mind!
Engine was very refined. It was quiet when just pottering round town but put your foot down and there's a nice throaty growl there. Nothing like the straight 6 sound but it's not bad.

It's certainly no back road warrior and I don't think i'd really like to push it on the twisty's but maybe that's only because I didn't really get a chance to get used to it in the test drive. Give it a couple of months and it'll probably be different, especially when I get used to the size of the car. It did feel like quite a large car on the road but i'm thinking it'll be more suited to cruising on A roads than blasting through the back country roads. That suits me fine though.

Pics!

Just a point, it might feel faster than the S but this is often due to the feeling the turbo torque gives. But feeling faster is good

Would not touch a BMW 2 litre petrol with a bargepole. They have got to be the most unreliable engines currently on sale in the UK, and my daily is a BMW..

Time will tell I suppose. Thanks for pointing that out though just before I pick up my car this afternoon!

That 3 year warranty may be useful after all!

Sorry, I read it as test drive, I'm sure they've sorted the problems now.
