Default Today I bought...

So the Exige has gone after approx 6 months and a few hundred miles. I think I used it 4 times, and can't remember having an enjoyable drive apart from some laps at Oulton. Roads are too shit and too busy!

Also going is the trusty Warrior! This thing had been truly amazing. Bought it over 18 months ago for not a lot of money, stuck 14k miles on it and its not lost a lot. It's done the London commute for the past year, carried bikes, bike bags, stuff to the tip, passengers, car parts and most importantly towed the S on many occasions including in heavy snow. It's been 100% reliable an I will be sad to see it go.

So replacing it is something I've wanted for a while and quite excited about. Hated by most but I've gone for a RR sport 3.0 TDV6

It should be a good one car fits all (for now) as its nice enough to attend an event in and will tow the S an do the London run in comfort. I was pretty blown away on the test drive. It certainly shifts (245 bhp and 445 lbs ft) and has some gadgets like a fridge and tv Very quiet too, double glazing helps

Went main dealer for the warranty! Having some side steps fitted as I like those

Looks like a remap might be in order too.

It certainly is, and something I thought of too! Although Andy has one of these now which looks like better accommodation:

You are off your head IMO

My brother-in-law runs a busy LR indy, is ex main dealer and does a fair bit of off-road competition with LR.

The last car I saw him using for work was a Subaru - I kid you not.

There is good money in fixing LR/RR it seems.

I hope it's more reliable than the new Evoques et al.
(My colleague's car has been in four times this year for electrical failures and clanking hubs)

This may be your first purchase 'mistake' mate - but lets hope not Mark

I've been looking at RRS (as well as L200s - so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on that in more detail)

Getting fed up of bike racks and looking for something to just do everything - sadly has to be 4 seat / door.

RR and Crew cab 4x4 ticks all those boxes. And would cope with speed bumps of London.

At least you didn't order it in Prick White.

I like the fridge bit, did it come stocked?
