Ive been using the Tomtom Nokia mobile setup and it works great! Only problem is it kills the batteries so just buy an in car nokia charger)

Why take two bottles in the shower when you can take one?

Looks like a really neat compact piece of kit however the silver trim wont blend as seamlessly as the existing one and with a different mounting method maybe my custom solution wont be doable so i'll give it a miss.

Make way for Garminboy...

They've been knocking out such products for years

I just don't get this whole Tomtom thing. It's Ipod mentality, isn't it?

If my GPS won't last for 20hrs on battery, or float, then I see it as shit.

My brother has the Nuvi and before I got the ONE I gave it a try for one weekend, the map doesnt scroll anywhere near as smoothly as the TomTom (REALLY annoying) it does have some cool features like reading out the actual road name but for navigation practicality the TT has it beat.

Audio book and MP3 functions are pointless additions that 98% of people won't use... bit like an iPod that plays videos...

Tomtom is focus at In-Car tomtom, it has foot routes but its main focus is in car, and I'd say its the best on the market. Devices like the garmin above are clearly designed to be held in hand, and are probably better for every other type of navigation

I mean, my Etrex floats for f**ks sake......that is the future.

...and I can navigate oceans, should I get a big boat and learn how to sail.

Don't start me on my Ordnance maps.....oh baby.....those contour lines....and crikey - forests and lakes....
