5th gear is unwatchable though
Where do they get those presenters

It's also heroically dull

i can put up with VBH and The fat hairy thing but tif (oh i love porkas and can power slide) and Plato (the cock jockey inflated ego) just make me want to drive down to the 5th gear studio and bitch slap the pair of them before power sliding over their heads in a steam roller.

Top Gear was absolutely appalling
The whole show was dedicated to 3 dumbasses trying to build a carboat! WTF?

Exige S vs a Mustang. lol! even a base model Elise wouldn't have probs wasting an American lard.

His name is Bentley, and I don't think he's named after the car.

Definitely not as good as it has been - I'm fairly sure it used to be about cars

More focused towards a pure entertainment show now than it used to be

The boats were funny though.

Pile of shite.

EDIT: even the overturning car was predictable.

There has been a definite change on TG and I suspect its deliberate.

While 5th Gear remain closely focussed on cars - TG has gone into the light entertainment business. JC has become very popular and the target audience of TG is wider than the traditional petrolheads it was initially aimed at.

Remember Top Gear with William Wollard and that tosser from the midlands ? (Chris Somethingorother )...that was a crap programme too, but we all watched it.

Its change I'm afraid...and its constant.

It's Sunday night entertainment for 3 generations. Plain & simple.

I found TG funny last night, I genuinely did. But about 15 minutes after the show finished I found it somewhat wanting.

There really was nothing in lst night's show. Admittedly I thought the Elise S was cracking, and if you looked below it on the boards for some of the cars it has beaten then to the light white fella.

But apart from the gags type stuff there really wasn't anything in the show.

I hope next weeks is better.
