Top Gear
Another great show. Glad it's back on our screens after Englands "World Cup of shame".
I'm really enjoying the general tom foolary the guys have on the show, and it must be a right hoot to be a part of. Yes the staged stuff, does stick out a bit, like the caravan catching on fire etc.........but it's still good fun to watch, and better than most comedies on TV at the moment.
And it gets up the establishment noses

I love it when people get offended by Top Gear... sort of missing the irony there me thinks
Quality episode, made me laugh throughout.
I especially loved his comments about the VXR Vectra... brilliant!

It was all staged...... although I don't think the police intervention was planned

The turning around thing could well have been a genuine case of going the wrong way and needing to turn around. The decision to turn around in the middle of the road rather than find a bit more space was totally staged.
There was a good article about the programme in the Sunday Times this week.

Recently stuck behind one of the twats weren't you? We can tell!

funnily enough i almost expected me to hurtle past swearing my nuts off with the lid down. i did this on a recent trip to Sheringham after this tawat had held me up for an absolute age with his hardboard tent.

I loved it. It's entertaining and thats what I want from TV most of the time.
The staged stuff does cheapen it a bit
but I don't care.
I read somewhere, christ knows where tho, an interview with James May and he said their message was simple. It's a bunch of blokes sitting around chatting about cars, having a laugh and playing like hooligans.
I'm jealous.
