TBH anyone who bought a car which is not as good as the previous model is beyond saving!
Are you talking about the TT?

FWIW I think the new TT is great. I have driven the FWD 2.0T and it's really good fun. The same can't be send for the terminally dull and numb previous version!

I want to have a go in the new TT Roadster when they're out - particularly the V6!

Apparently the 2.0T is better as it feels lightweight, the 3.2 is a heavy car.

I think the best choice is to wait for the TTS - which will have the Audi S3's 2.0T and is likely to have 270+ bhp and 4WD. It should be under 1400kg too.

The S3 has already posted a 13.7 sec 0-100mph.

Top Gear were due to show a 'stunt' involving a car being hit by a train at a level crossing last night, but the powers that be jumped in at the last minute and stopped it due to an accident last week involving some young lads getting killed in such an incident.

Obviously the TG car was empty and the stunt had been set up with the cooperation of Railtrack to be used as a means to educate people to the dangers of level crossing, but of course with a large slice of TG humour thrown in aswell.

It's a shame that they bottled it as I'd have thought that the fact that a similar accident had just taken place would have given them more grounds to show it.

Looks like the lawyers and tree huggers are having more and more influence on the show.

How pathetic... surely they should have pulled the show as there was also some fatal car accidents yesterday too

The Stig was clearly having far too much fun playing with the RX-8 to put in a good lap time. What a chassis!

Anyone who might have doubted my review of the Brera's appalling chassis now has film evidence. Although I drove the fat one.

Interesting that Clarkson said the same about the new TT - only the little one drives any good.

That Veyron did look pretty f uck off in monotone black. Utterly pointless, but all the more likeable for it

Agree. But he actually made me laugh (that's more than his films have ever done).

He's still a tw@t, but he seems to know it, and not care. So that's a from me.

Nope... drive one, you will be suprised!

I was shocked, it drives even better than the Golf GTI which I thought was a great new hot hatch.

It's no S2000 and it would be great to drive the TT with RWD and not 4WD or FWD, but for a fun coupe it's a million times better to drive than the old one and I also prefer it to the RX8.
