Bodes well for the Scirocco, though!
Thought that was canned last week, could be though.

Bird in my office has just taken delivery of a new TT, very nice it is too. Still a bit ponsey for my tastes though Expensive for what it is too, once you add a few options.

The Veyron was awesome, I wish they would send it round the track. My guess is Bugatti don't want them to in case it doesn't come top.....the title of fastest production car in the world would look a bit lame if it was slower than the Koenigseggesegegegeggeegegeg.

The Stig was clearly having far too much fun playing with the RX-8 to put in a good lap time. What a chassis!
I reckon it's edited, I don't think the fastest laps would make very good TV

Very surprised at the TT, not that it's quicker than the Mazda, but that it sounds like it might be fun. Watching Top Gear reminded me of the 225 TT I test drove just before I bought the S, and not exaggerating, the big lardy estate car I'm driving now feels like a proper sports car compared to the Audi. It was that sh*t.

We had a TT 225 Roadster for a while, and yes it was quite boring to drive but very rapid..

It didn't look like fun to me - it looked typically anodyne fwd

Going fast isn't necessarily fun

Especially if the car is the main reason for the speed

That's why I'd rather be driving a slow sixties sports car than that Audi

Anyday

Seems to not be round Nur', so I guess you are right.

IIRC it was beaten by the Porsche CGT, Pagani Zonda & Koenigsegg. And got the same time as the 997 Turbo, 997 GT3 and the SLR.

Couldn't agree more

It was more Moff's statements than what was on Top Gear, I don't take any of it seriously, it's just good entertainment.
