Loads of speculators and credit crunchers.

Now the sat nav equipped cars are out, I expect the non nav ones to take a bit of a dip. Supply and demand have balanced.

I doubt you'd get a UK car for less than 50k right now.

Jap imports will suffer as the spec isn't as good for the UK.

Personally I think these will look very dated very quickly.

To clunky and not cohesive enough etc.

I also feel, like imprezas/evos that no matter how good they are, I'd feel somewhat embarassed driving one.

It has suspension unsuitable for UK roads, the fancy screen is in Japanese and can't be changed, has about 5 less bhp (no big deal) and the early ones will not have the updated gearbox software. Add the fact you have no warranty on top, and the availability of UK cars and they aren't as desirable.

Yup it's not for everyone. I often felt more embarassed driving the S with the roof down, than I do driving an Evo though. I'm not a fan of Subaru anymore though, for that reason.

A lot of jap cars have different UK / Japanese suspension, it's just their roads are often marbe smooth and ours haven't been upgraded since Roman times. JDM Evo's and Impreza's had suspension too firm for here, so the GTR is no different really. Bilstein softened it up a touch for the official UK cars.

JDM screen cannot currently be changed.

Gearbox software - saves the gearbox from destuction in the hands of idiots

Minor point again but when you can get a UK spec car with all the above solved, why bother?
