Buy a lid from a bike shop, also if you go for one of last years models you can save a shedload since the colour schemes are usually out of date and the dealer wants rid.

 

These guys are good, and the website is very useful.

If you want decent quality footage, you'll need a mini-DV camcorder, but check it has "analogue in" - not so many do these days. Ones that also have Lanc controllers so you can switch it on and off by remote cable are even rarer, but less important for track days if you are only doing a few laps at a time I guess.

A decent bike dealer should be able to advise you on whether your lid fits properly or not, and also explain how to look after it properly.
