TVR Cerbera....
I owned a 4.2 AJPv8 cerbera for a year, and did 15000 miles in it, it was my main everyday car and it didnt leak a bit. The engine ran perfectly, but other parts of the car failed (see list)
starter motor
windscreen wiper motor x 2
radiator
clutch master cylinder
brake master cylinder
shock absorber
Diff mounting bolts worked loose
All the above was covered under warranty, so didnt cost any more that regular servicing, but as someone above said, its every 6000 miles at around

I'd still like to own a Trevor at some point. I think the styling and sheer grunt are fantastic. However I don't want a car that is off the road more than it is on the road. Maybe i'll have to wait a few years for all these issues to be ironed out by the Russians that own the place now

TVRs brought to you by the people that gave us Lada.
My brother bought a 4.5 V8 a few years ago. He owned it for a year and spent about 5 grand during that time just keeping it running - he bought a bad one and paid the price, literally. When it was running it was an animal though. Oh, and it never leaked, although the radiator and battery did.....
I've mentioned it in another thread, but it's worth repeating. My advice would be (warranty claims aside) stay well away from TVR dealers.
Although sadly too late for me (costs were already running away and a sale was the only option), I found a guy called Noel (ex TVR dealer and factory trained) who had set up on his own company - V8 Sports & Classics. Top guy and half the price of the only TVR dealer within an hour's drive. He'd finish a service (
