i used to on the bike... in the S2000 i sit at 70 on the motorway, mainly so the stereo is not drowned out by the wind noise... its a very noisy car on the motorway.... in the passat i stick cruise control on at about 75 and stick to lorry lanes or middle most of the time in light traffic... I go on the motorway once a month if that.... so never get pissed off with it..

If i had to commute everyday then i am sure i would drive differently...

having a fast car doesn't give you the right to drive really close or intimidate other road users... flicking the indicator on usually lets them know you want to get past without being too aggressive... imo

but drive however the **** you want its your license!

The title of this should be... Undertaking... the only way to drive on a motorway in Britain...
Or .... Undertaking, a dying art.

I was reminded the other day of a habit I used to have when driving past the truck depot at Shanks & McEwan on the M8. In the early hours when we were driving to work, trucks would pull out and "race" each other, taking up both lanes at 59mph. I would shoot by at 120mph on the hard shoulder.

I was 18 at the time, and really didn't have much in the way of concern for safety.
