So minimum weight for Class A is 1100Kg with driver and fuel, can you fit any engine modifications as long as you don't re-bore to over .5mm?

So you could basically have all the usual mods that make a 250 bhp as long a you retain the bore size within stated specification?

Also, am i right in reading in the regs that it's 100 pounds to enter the series and 110 for BARC membership... Does that mean that's the season costs? seems very cheap!
Taken from the VTEC Challenge site:
"What are the projected costs?
Apart from the obvious costs such as your Honda Race car, National B race licence and Safety gear, we expect the costs to be around £280 for each Race meeting (Qualifying and 2 races) with an additional one off registration and BARC membership fee of £200 at the beginning of the year which entitles you to entry to the series plus lots of additional benefits."

Nicely done, wish I had the funds to have a go myself, would love to run a race spec S2000.

Yeah i could never justify the cost of running a s2000 in a race series, i don't have the funds. The civic on the other hand should be relitavely cheap!

I love the way they make it sound like the entry fees are the end of it

The reality is about £1k a meeting, if you're lucky.

Thinking about it, I do still have my old Prelude, it's the 2.3 and needs a lot of work but I've just found a reasonably priced H22A engine. I'd much prefer thrashing that round a track than my S2000! Could be an interesting project.

Annoyingly, the H22 engine I had on watch sold while I was out, £51! Saying that, I don't know what model H22 it was, I'd preferably like an H22A, near enough 200bhp as standard. Actually my dad has an H22A in his JDM Prelude, wonder if he'd notice if I "borrowed" it...

Anyone at Croft this weekend?

We have so many entries in the series at the moment (51 and they're turning people away) we're splitting our grid and half of us are merging with the VTEC series, me included. Come and say hello (Clio number 56 in the DDMC Northern Saloons) if you're in the paddock and try not to punt me off if you're on the grid
