What next...
Hello all,
I'm in the fun position of looking for a new car. I've looked at what I consider to be a natural progression ie V8 M3, 911 Carrera 2 etc. But then I thought I might go for something a little different, and have started looking for a lightly used XKR. Has anyone got any experience of these cars? I'm wondering if it will be agile and involving enough after coming out of an s2000. And obviously build quality/ big bills worry me slightly.
Anyone have anything helpful to tell me?
Where did you go after the S2000?

I went from my S2000 to an EVO VIII MR FQ300 and now I have a Z4 Coupe (not an M, it's the 3.0si 265bhp version).

Old topic; because of the driving involvement/low running costs/useability (aside from the grenade engine) there simply IS no S2000 replacement.
There are plenty of faster, more expensive cars to choose from, though.

Like Nick says the running costs of the S are ridiculously cheap, so a significant step up in performance will come a cost - however I've been mulling on this for a while and have come up with a shortish list, before the price of fuel culls fun forever
