What's the best hatchback?
I suppose the usual questions will arise as to what is the intended usgae and what spec would Sir like but in general...
Wifey has a latest generation Clio (a 1.2 LP Turbo) and it's a good car, especially the engine. We've had no real reliability issues with it in the two and a bit years and 17,000 miles we've owned it for. But, I'm not sure it's the best out there. It's a great little car, it does everything well, and it does make me smile; but it definately lacks soul.
When it gets replaced in November, depending on the deal we can get (I can get staff discount with Renault through my brother, so anything other than another Clio has to be competetive finacially), I think we'l be going for the Fiesta. A great looking car, and it get's great write-ups.
If you just want some 'White Goods' type vehicle to get you around and not cost a great deal, then Kia's Ceed is hard to ignore. A low purchace price and a seven year warranty are hard to ignore.
