wheres the driver?
Followed this car this morning... I was convinced by the swaying across the lanes and the fact I couldnt see a driver that no one was in it!
Turned out to be a little old woman who could only just see over the wheel doing 35 mph in the outside lane!!! gerrrroff the road!!!

Doh, 35 in outside lane? They really should be re-tested at a certain age.
Mind you its not just old people, I was stuck behind a vectra for 20 minutes sitting in the outside lane at 60, only when he moved over I could see he was driving with his elbows, texting with both hands !

tsk... it really gets up my back, I think a lot of people do it because they see a fast car in the rear view and want to spoil their fun!
You can now undertake on the new M42 motorway system as long as you dont fly over the speed limit.
Road users beware, the 300+ cameras on the M42s new management strip do work!

...And then there's people driving along while taking photos of the car in front...
Have to agree with you - re-tests should be mandatory and regularly repeated after a certain age. AND *meaningful* eye tests. I knew a bloke whose eye condition meant he had no peripheral vision at all. But because he could still read the number plate at the statuatory distance, he was allowed to continue driving.
