I have watched the first one and you do everything right. Your meant to go down the side and yeah u can weave when it suits you if there is stationary vehicles blocking your path.

I can't comment for the second one yet. I'd have a watch later.

Afraid I have to agree with the others too, you need to ride slower and with more consideration for other road users.

If I rode my motorcycle like you ride that bicycle I wouldn't be typing this reply............

Undertaking cars at "speed" is stupid enough but the fact that you passed stationary or near stationary, traffic 5 times, at 35 secs, 1.29, 2.00, 4.23 and 4.41 when on "zigzags" before a pedestrian crossing...... what if someone had been crossing hidden by the traffic?

are bicycles really allowed to pass on zigzags? when everyone else has to abide by the rules.

Interesting comments - thanks.

Shisk - You can't undertake if your in a cycle lane and I am 100% allowed to do what I did. And If I was overtaking on the outside she'd have driven me into oncoming traffic (which has happened before). All I am trying to do is get to work following the rules of the road The video location is in Crewe not London.

Fester - Yes it's not a dedicated cycle lane, but if there is a cyclist near then a car has to give way, just like you have to give way to vehicles on the other side of the road if you are want to use it. Incidentally that woman beeped because I was in said lane and she wanted to pull into it. No, it didn't help with the car parked on double yellows.

PS - I don't wear any lycra at all

Keep the comments coming though.

Yep, that is actually part of the cycle lane and the zig zags only mean no parking so have absolutely no relevance And the light is green! Are you telling me when you ride your motorbike if you see a green light for road traffic at a pedestrian crossing you stop?

Ron you might think of yourself as a driving god, but a decent cyclist I don't think so.
Yep, riding on the 'other side'. This is perfectly fine and legal to do. Nothing was coming and if you look closely you'll see that the bike lane on the left randomly stops. If something was coming I could have safely stopped on my side of the road along with the stationary traffic

Daft peddling at daft speed... shows to be an inexperienced cyclist if I'm honest.

whats with the slowing for the schoolgirl at 1.02... ?? sporting your lycra packet there were you, perv!

Police will have a laugh at you, probably put you on a speed awareness course and use the video of what NOT to do as a cyclist!

What was the point of moving into the centre of the cycle box at the lights only to go straight ahead? Was this to demonstrate your rights to the cars that you blocked off?
You provoked the white car, he was keeping left to leave room for other road users, it is called consideration, something you lack.

Am I the only one to wish that one of the vans parked on the left had opened their door?
Ride on the pavement, jump red lights, ride across zebra crossings are things I don't do...unless you were watching a different video of someone other than me.

I only move in the centre of the box to be seen. 30 yards ahead is traffic, so it's not as if I'm slowing them down.

You don't have to wish for the van driver to open the door, it happens a lot.

Taking primary in the road is something I do often If I see a pedestrian refuge ahead or a narrow bit of road, mostly to stop impatient car drivers squeezing through however you taking primary in the second video seemed more tit for tat rather than for your own safety. If anything you put yourself in harms way. Same goes for your undertaking in the first video. you were travelling far too fast. I bet that Civic driver had a real scare when you shot out of the cycle lane, don't forget that he can't see you due to the other traffic!!

You are the type if cyclist that give us a bad name. You also need to stop trying to antagonise car drivers too as the next one you piss off may not be so patient with the next cyclist they come across.

Ride like you're invisible NOT invincible!
Yeah, the Civic driver didn't get a scare because he never saw me at all. He had 4 seconds of decent viewing. You also fail to mention the Zafira driver who pulls out of the junction.

What's with the lycra?!?! I wear waterproofs.

The Police have seen the video with me there. They had no issue with my actions.

Ultra - I think you are in the wrong in video 2 - she didn't enter the bike lane. If there is an obstacle in your lane, you have to check its safe before attempting a change of lane.
You didn't have right of way to move into the main lane, you chose to maintain your speed and then move into her path with no signalling and very little room to manouver. Her behaviour later is well out of order, but I think a little more thinking ahead on your behalf and being more courteous - this would have been avoided.
Remember that you will always come off worse than the car!

Its always better to be defensive and arrive safely and 1 minute later than 2 weeks later with a cast on your body! (Fkin hell, sound like an old person!!!)

Be more careful around buses too! Safe cycling.
