As I've mentioned, I have a 1er on order. However on the final trip to the dealer to do some paperworky type thing, I noticed a s/h E60 M5. I handed over the pointless doc then went to have a look-see.

Boring silver, boring black interior. But £31k and TWO year 2nd hand warranty. The man-maths part of my brain started to kick in at that point. 500bhp, V10, 2 year warranty. What's not to like.

Glad I walked away, but wish circumstances were different so I didn't need to walk away.
