Nick, I couldn't consider your Legend as beater. It's one of the cars I'm dreaming about. They did cost more than €70k in Finland, around the same as an S2000! My EE5 can be called as beater even if it's rare as hen's teeth. The sorry state of the bodywork justifies the beater status. I've actually washed it once but may not bother doing it another time. I'm worried that there won't be enough metal left for another wash

How are the inner of the front arches on that? The one I saw was shot. It needed a complete sand down, respray on the inner lips to do it cheaply but 2 new wings to do it properly. I would have probably bought it were it not for that. Got me thinking of where else tin worm lived and without a ramp, I couldn't check.

I think the definition of a beater for you guys is different to mine!
My idea of a winter beater is a car less than £500 that will last until the temperature rises.
