insurance is CHEAPER than the my 1999 S2000 by 70 quid a year. couldnt believe that, but there we go.

everyday parts seem to be similar - i guess i fht eengine blows or whatever, yeah, thats gonna hurt.

ive seen other stuff about the vanos being a bit unreliable.
engine went pop at 40k...wow, thats a bummer. thats really worrying.

Sorry guys.

There is no such car as a BMW Z3M.

It will either be a BMW M Roadster.

Or a BMW M Coupe.

And I thought you were all proper petrolheads.

The car was derived from the Z3 but was never branded as such.

I just counted >20 "Z3M" for sale on Pistonheads.
Wow, what a deluded lot they are...

You are talking bollocks.
Get over to the BMW approved used car website and search for a BMW Z3M roadster or coupe.

Unless of course you know more than they do

It is a common mis-conception.

Suggest you check BMW website if you want the facts.

It would appear so.

They are dealer placed ads on the BMW car locator system..

Fact; the car was never branded as a Z3M.

This is because BMW are very specific about their "M Cars"

Ergo, you will never find a BMW 3 Series M3 for example.

They are simply branded BMW M3.

The only (recent) exception has been the BMW Z4 M Roadster and Coupe.

Suggest you check archive material from the launch.

I see no reason to engage in a battle of wits with someone who has only half the qualifications.
