You might want to get a 2nd opinion. <shameless plug> The only place I will take my Honda/Acuras is Triad Auto out by the airport in G-boro (393-0220). They do good work at reasonable rates. </shameless plug> When I bought my S they put it on the lift and checked everything, then a mechanic and I took it for a test drive, all at no charge. I would at least call them and see what they recommend before spending money.

DrReid, I called the guys at Triad Auto... I should have called them first. THe guy talked with me on the phone for 5-10 minutes or so and I could tell he was being honest. I have a feeling that the bearing is causing the spindlenut to come loose, long story as to why I have that feeling. But for now until I get a job, im going to re-tighten the spindle nut and plan on replacing the bearing in the near future!

I hope it works out for you. I can't say enough about the guys at Triad Auto. I have been taking my cars there for about 15 yrs. Even when I lived in the DC area I would go see them at about 2/3's the cost of local DC mechanics.
