Default Ap1 To Ap2 Headlights!

Hey guys!

I’m getting familiar on how to use this forum now.
I'm from Cary NC and probably some one can help me on this. I post on Mods and Parts my question about this Ap1 to Ap2 complete headlights swap.

So I’m checking other people’s feed back so fill free to type your comments and opinions as well.

So I have an ap1 and I’m planning to swap my Ap1 headlights for the Ap2 headlights complete set with HID Ballats, Igniter etc… I want to know if this is a plug and play swap. I don’t want surprises ones I’m doing the swap. I do know that they will fit perfect and I have seen the DIY but with the Ap1 Ballats and Igniter, (wish you need to cut and make them fit). I haven’t seen a complete swap with the Ap2 headlights HID Ballats Igniter and that’s what I’m concern about.
Is the Ap1,Ap2 headlights harness the same ? Is there an DIY in this forum that I haven’t seen?

If anybody can help me I will really appreciated, comments, suggestion are very welcome!!

*Thank you guys*

This is the whole conversation on Mods and Parts, you can have a better understanding if you reed it.

If you have the headlights it should just be plug and play.

AP1 part number is 33192-S2A-003

AP2 part number is 33147-S2A-A11

If you see #14 wire diagram on the Ap2 you will see that is different on the Ap1 #26 wire diagram. The end connector that hooks to the car harness is my concern not the one that connects to the ballats or igniter.

The ballasts have a power and ground wire. Either get the right one, or cut of the ap1 connector and splice it to the ap2 ballast.
