Ap1 To Ap2 Headlights!

Yes, but I will buy the Ap2 ballats so there's no need for me to cut and rewired. I will have the complete headlights with HID ballats and igniter. My concern is the Ap2 ballats pigtail, I know the pigtail hooks to the ballats and the other half hooks to the harness of the car. So I don't know if the Ap2 pigtail will plug to the harness of the car or not. I check the honda diagram and part# and they are a little different.

it is completely interchargeable if you have the headlights and ballast 100% all the harnesses and what not will plug in!!! i have done it before on my s2k. It makes the job alot easier if you have the ap2 ballast since you do not have to drill anything or cut anything at all! 100% Plug and PLAY!!!!

Well, the difference about that DIY is that his using the Ap1 HID ballats and igniter on a AP2 Headlight, wish you have to cut and modify. I'm using Ap2 HID ballats, igniter etc for the swap. My question is the pigtail of the ballats going to the harness of the car.

Up 2 posts from yours it just said it is 100% plug and play with what you have.

I know the housing is the headlights, I just didn't know what he was reffering to. If you reed the the whole post you will know better.

I have pictures of the Ap2 ballats pigtail. Does anyone have pictures of the Ap1 ballats pigtails?

pull the headlight and ballast out of the ap1 put in the ap2 stuff plug it up and you're good to go. i did this swap about 3 years back. its plug and play if you are using everything. ballast igniter bulbs and housing.
