Okay guys and gals. I know it is a long drive and a 2 night stay (Friday $ Sat) but it is a great time and a great drive. As some of you know I am from Ohio and I participated in this last year. I don't know 100% that I am going to be able to get up to Ohio for this but I thought that maybe some others will be interested.

Rates have gone up but what hasn't. They are holding 15 Double Rooms @$94.00/night. More rooms will be made available if needed. As in the past, we will have our own parking area with a hose provided for car washing.


As for the drive, we will be doing roughly the same drive as last year (minus missed turns and private drives ponder2.gif ). We will meet at Salt Fork Lodge for lunch (yet to be arranged) and then head south.


Dinner:
Marietta Brewing Company @ 7pm.

Been there, done that. Awesome drive!!!!!!! I highly recommend it. Route 26 was rated one of the best drives in the U.S.

S2000 drive only? Who puts it on? I was up there during Thanksgiving and enjoyed the area. I was on my way to Stubenville, were my GF has family!

 

Not s2000 only, if you check the original thread they state very clearly that all are welcome. Just make sure you post in the original thread so that they can keep the head count for reservations.

The Ohio group puts it on (Scooterboy and Mocky). I attended the event last year and it was a great time. The run ends in my hometown (Marietta OH), and the drive is all through rural SE Ohio which is gorgeous in late summer.

I am working on getting the name of the hotel next to the Hampton Inn where most of the guys are staying. It is more reasonably priced (think Knights Inn) so that those of us on a budget and needing to stay two nights will have another option. The hotel is literally right next door.

 

Ok, so while looking into the other hotel found out that it has been bought by another hotel and closed for building, so there is another option at the Comfort Inn right down the road, bu t it will not be as convenient as if that hotel were still open.
