True. The punishment should be much higher. Luckily we live in good areas where crime isn't to bad though. I have yet to hear of any seats stolen in the triangle yet
I agree I feel safer in the triangle but better safe then sorry

time for an alarm and perhaps some home-made seat locks with loc-tite... just sucks that we need to resort to stuff like this.

i guess i should really be surprised that it took this long. i've had the car nearly ten years and this is the first incident that's happened so i should feel lucky.

dicks.

Shotgun +7 shells. Alternating buck and slug. Excessive? Yes.

wow, not a bad price at all. looks like the insurance company has already ordered the salvaged ones from somewhere up in Shelby. if they turn out to be shite, hopefully these'll still be available (somehow though, i doubt it).

so the top has also been ordered and i'm getting a Viper 5902 to help protect the old girl in the future. i've also got a HK USP Tactical .40 that i'm seriously itchin' to use if this happens again.

good lookin' out; thanks Airgate!

trust me, i certainly felt like it thursday morning. it's crazy but i dont really give two shits about lousy people and would have a seriously hard time NOT shooting someone stealing my property. i know the law would land heavily on me for something like that because lethal force is only permissible in situations where you're protecting life, but really; would someone that does stuff like this really be missed?

Woah woah woah, nobody said anything about shooting to kill. That setup is mainly for the inevitable zombiepocalypse to get from the house to the car. Less lethal beanbag rounds for vehicle protection. Luckily my shotgun has a side saddle

my s got hit last year off rea. in the end it cost my ins company almost 10g's to get my top replaced and the new/used seats. they tried to pass off seats that were shite on me....looked like they had about 150000 miles on them....3 months of back and forth and they put brand new factory seat covers on them.

here's the kicker...i just traded my s on an 07 acura tl-s because i needed something with four doors and i didnt like the attention the s was constantly getting in my carport. well a few days before the op's car got hit all four of my tires were slashed on my tl. and two of my wife's tires. makes me think that the same ass wipes came back to get my new seats again and were pissed that my s was no longer there.

cant wait for a garage....
