Dingus at Flow Honda ordered the wrong fluid, so we didn't dump it. Now that we've seen the transmission fluid is like new, it's pretty obvious where the sound is coming from. I was told a while ago I should plan to replace it soon, so this is my chance to do it.

The clink sound I was hearing was the insides of my cat rattling around (I think.) Going to replace that along with the O2 sensor that the cat honeycomb smashed.
I'm going to be at HyperFest on May 2nd and 3rd in the DE3 group. Anyone else going?

Excellent! Will your car class in TTC, or will you get bumped up to TTB? TTB has had many more entries than TTC in the past. If you can get into 2:12's in TTB, you have a good shot at the podium (or winning.)

My car classes in TTC since I still have stock suspension. I'v done a 2:12 once or twice on the r888's but that's only when I get lucky! haha. I might go ahead and get some hoosiers and it would still be in TTC even with hoosiers but i'm thinking about just doing TTB since there is usually more entries. can't quite decide what to do. Either way i'm looking forward to learning how TT works. Should be a really fun event!

Yeah, it's going to be fun. There are 40(!) cars in DE3.
Edit: You can class the car in either TTB or TTC, but you just have to tell them beforehand. That way you can see whichever group has the most entries and go from there. Good luck getting a contingency from those Hoosiers! Only need 5 entries for that.

Yeah that hoosier contingency is what's making me think TTB but I'll probably just class the car as TTC and if it's enough for contingency in TTB get them to sick me in there. Probably wouldn't be able to actually win them but might as well try!
DE3 should be fun with that many cars!

Run whatever class has a better shot at making contingency, regardless of where you think you might place. Other than Wynn at 2:09, the remaining TTB field during the March event was 2:12-2:13.

I switched my class to TTB since I was the only one in TTC. That makes six people in TTB this weekend so enough for contingency. I'm looking forward to it! It looks like there is quite a few s2000's signed up for the weekend also.

I can admit it when I'm jealous. I really wish I was running HC1 this weekend but my wife would murder me. Not while I slept, but while I'm awake and lucid. Have fun and be safe.
