Default Changing from mobil 1

So I'm having the tct problem and im changing the oil but not sure to what... any input would be good.. Thinking about high mileage castrol the green bottle it's a synthetic blend... Some are saying Mobil 1 is real thin and not good for the tct....

Ive used castro for all my cars even s2 no issue, plan to use mobil 1 turbo diesel now, since i heard has good amount of additives to protect wear, guess we will see when i send used oils to the lab to compare

Mobil 1 is fine oil, and not the cause of your tct problems. If you want to change though I recommend Rotella t6 5w40.

It went bad because it was designed poorly. However, many people say that they first got the noise when switching to Mobile 1. But I have seen way too many engines torn down that were using Mobil 1 or Amsoil that look like they are brand new on the inside. I would change to a superior TCT and keep using a synthetic.
