Charlie.....What a mess!
Thank goodness the storm had diminished in intensity by the time it decided to pay us a visit. Still, a catagory one storm can cause severe damage.
Today I manned the Pender County Emergency Ops Center representing the Red Cross. There were a lot of people in the shelters for this storm, especially since the county experienced deadly tornados just yesterday. Three killed and 60 wounded, 16 homes destroyed. With that experience still fresh in everyone's mind, people weren't taking any chances with the hurricane today.
Fortunatley there were no homes destroyed or injuries that we know of.
I hope none of the S2k community had any damage.
Three down and two to go (so far).

Good to hear, well at least todays news, sad about the tornado's fri. Did anyone hear the Governer say "we just had a little bit of bad luck." I didn't think that was not the best thing to say under the circumstances.
