How is it possible that a gunman can shoot and kill 32 innocent people on the campus of Virginia Tech. Something is very wrong.

I don't know Rob. This hits very close to home for me for many reasons. I have heard all the news reports, listened to the television and still there are no answers.

I'm sure the President of the University is asking himself how could he have handled this differently? Many emotions to deal with over the next few days.

Let's just remember the families of the victims in our prayers and hope this beautiful college campus and the students can heal from this tragedy. These young students had so much of their life ahead of them.

One of our neighbor kids who is one of my daughter's best friends called her today. Several of her friends are students and she's often stayed up there on weekends. Anyway, our neighbor is okay, but he was in the classroom and his professor and assistant prof were both killed. My daughter has heard from all of her friends and none of them were injured or killed.

Absolutely Horrible!!!!!! The numbers are mindboggling. How so very sad for so many families. I'm just totally disgusted. Don't we already have enough homegrown nuts in this country that now we have to deal with a Chinese national on a student visa? This kind of indiscriminate hate/anger just defies any explanation. Those poor parents.

A very bad situation indeed, unfortunatly I don't think anything can be done to prevent random events like this from happening anywhere.
