This article was the feature story this morning in the Greenville (SC) News. We had tornado warnings last night as the storm moved through, but fortunately none materialized. I hope all you S2k types around Wilmington (Airgate, MyBad, RWD_HNDA, etc.) are OK.

There was a touchdown west of Wilmy today in Columbus County. Damage assessment is still being done and won't be in until sometime tomorrow. Based on what I know through the Red Cross there was substantial damage.

Nine people known dead.

 

The national news interviewed a father who found his dead daughter under her house. They also lost their son and grand baby. Very sad. My thoughts and prayers are for all those who lost homes and loved ones.
