Hey, it's me again! Are there any must see area or must try foods in Charlotte? What do I want to not miss this weekend while I'm in Charlotte?
Is Huskergirl still having a bash? I'll be on the road in less than 48 hours. The wife, dog, and I are excited!

Well, we got up and left Tampa this morning at 7am. Got as far as Daytona and had car problems (not the S2K). We had taken it to Midas a few days ago to put new brakes on the back. Turns out they didn't pack/torque the bearings correctly and both left and right rears on the car broke town.
We had to wait in a small auto service place for them to look at it. After being there for 3 hours, they have to order all new parts, bearings, screws, nuts, spin threads (is that right?). They have to ship from Atlanta. So, we got a rental and drive back to Tampa. Now we have to wait for them to fix the car and then drive the rental back to Daytona so we can pick up our car on Tuesday or Wednesday. Looking like $600 to fix. We are going to take the bill to Midas with spent parts and demand them to reimburse us for the damage.
Needless to say, our weekend in Charlotte is shot. I'm going to see if I can add on days to my trip up for the Dragon Run in Sept.
I'm terribly bummed right now. Thanks for the info and offer for the month end bash.
We'll meet you guys at the Dragon in the S2K!
