I think I'm going to head straight for the dragon early tomorrow morning.

Sheila, do we need to bring bedding and bath stuff for the cabin, or is that supplied?

It's been a crazy week, I'm looking forward to this trip!

Bedding is supplied...so just bring whatever personal 'toiletries' that you may desire.

Looking forward to meeting you!

Anyone want to meet up at Atlanta Bread Company in Ashville I-40 exit 50. at 11:30 for lunch and then take the Blue Ridge to Cherokee, then on into Fontana Village?
I think we're going to make a beeline for the Dragon as well, and have a late lunch at the Dragon's Den. Can't wait to see you there!

The cabins are fully furnished with linens, towels, etc. You might want to bring your favorite adult beverage, as Fontana Village only sells domestic beer and the nearest liquor store is in Robbinsville.

We'll make a run for cabin supplies (coffee, snacks, etc.) but bring any of those items if you'd like.

For those staying in the 2 McCabins, please also bring a check. I'll put the cabins on my credit card, and just get everyone to pay me before we leave.

And for a SPECIAL TREAT... Raul is bringing some of Anna's lasagna (from her family restaurant!), so we'll have an awesome Italian FEAST for dinner Saturday night. Everyone is welcome for dinner; just bring a few $$ for the kitty.

<insert Hannibal Lecter voice> "And maybe a nice Chianti...."

Have fun All!

I'll be thinking of you while watching Sheadlee's dragon video as the snow starts to accumulate outside.

Hmm, Saturday night dinner sounds great -- thanks Anna.

When we were there in August, the general store at Fontana Village sold a sampling of liquid in long necked bottles labeled "wine." I won't make any representation on quality.

Have a great time Friday (I am jealous) and be SAFE! See you Friday evening.
