Sheila even discovered a "secret road" back to Fontana. We're not going to tell anyone who wasn't at MacDragon about it. (Raul)

Glad the LEOs are gone...
I pulled some strings for 'ya!
Oh...when did the official name of McDragon change to "MacDragon?"

Bryan, how's the engine coming???

Since I can't make additional progress until I get more bearings, I cleaned up the outisde of the block and the engine bay. I'll order some parts tomorrow and hopefully take another crack at it over Thanksgiving.
I just rolled in town after a GREAT 2 days on the Dragon
!!!
Thanks to Ron, Sheila, Gary (deadbird) and John (MaxHunter) for a wonderfully fun weekend
. Hope you all have safe travels back to your homes.
Lots of fairly clean runs up 28 and the Dragon...as well as Happy Valley.
I think I'll do a short nap, before I check into the office. I woke up at 1:30, 2:30 and 4:00AM this morning and finally said screw it...and hit the road by 4:30AM.
Since there were only a handful of participants...I didn't break out the camera as much as usual. I'll check to see what pics I do have, later this evening.

Finished putting the bottom end together this morning with plastigage on all the bearings. Pulled it all back apart this afternoon to read the plastigage. All the main bearing clearances are good. All but one of the rod bearing clearances are too loose, so I'll have to order up some rod bearings that are another step bigger. As I was putting things away, I dropped a rod cap onto the lower block and it landed squarely on one of the new main bearings, which made a nasty gouge. So I'll be replacing that. I'd be mad if I didn't have to order some additional rod bearings anyway...

Sheila and I are sitting in the Fontana dining room having a late breakfast after some outstanding Dragon runs and reviewing menus for WTD. Gotta feed you folks.
