Didnt see this months ago LOL I live in Pawleys Island......still looking for a decent driving road.
I really wish my job would have moved me to NC instead god I hate it here. I have been up to Wilmington a few times and it seems more "hilly" and good roads up that way?

instead of saying (lets build a repository of great drives), it would sound nicer if it read ( lets build a depository of great drives). or listing. repository sounds like something that goes up your twat. LOL.

Not sure if this has been posted, but the ride from Banner Elk to the top of Beech Mtn near Boone NC has some great curves. Also from Banner Elk to Valle Crusis is narrow and curvy. Check out the Mast General Store in Valle Crusis, very cool old store.

Ya these are two great drives also the Old Beech Mtn. HWY is even better. If anyone is in the Boone, Banner Elk area hit me up because I grew up there and still live there 6 months of the year so I know all the good roads and some hidden gems that not many people really know.

I just want to add.
If you want to go to Gatlinburg TN there is this road called HWY 32. My god... the only downside is that there is about 2.5 miles of unpaved road to get to it, just go really slow through it and you should be fine, there is nobody on that road.. it is a hidden GEM!!
