Default Fluid Maintenance Help - RTP

Hey RTP & greater area S2000 owners!

So I'm living in a temporary apartment until we close and move into our house at the end of July (Fuquay). Therefore, all of my tools and jacks/jack-stands are in storage and I need to do Oil, Diff, Tranny fluid as well as inspect some bushings/mounts.

Does anyone want to "loan" me some garage, jack/lift, tool time? Maybe you need to do similar services and we can do a mini-tech day?

I would GREATLY appreciate the help - I can pay in beer and shop towels...or cash if that's your only currency. haha.

Let me know!
Justin

More than welcome to come to my place, but I'm in Smithfield! I loan garages for beer I have a fluid pump and several drain pans, and plenty of tools, jack, and stands.

Same offer goes over here as well! I have done the bushing swap and though not fun was worth it in my mind.

Tips...........if you do the push out/push in stuff.
- Get a 20 ton press(12 will do just fine but more is always better)
- Micrometer and exactly size your parts to push in/out(and I mean EXACTLY) or hit me up and you can cover shipping both ways for the parts I cobbled together.
- High Heat torch or see what you can do to cut stuff out first with dremel or blade.
- This stuff stinks and drips flaming goo that stains the ground.
- Grind down, primer/paint the arms. I didn't do this and am TOTALLY MAD that I didn't..........same angry face for when I had my engine and oil pan out!(when will I learn)
- Firestone has a lifetime alignment that might be pretty nice to have.

I'll just drop my car off with you, and you can do my bushings at the same time you do all this junk. At that point it'd only be like 3% more work. No big deal, right?

A guy I ran in to at Hyperfest did his bushings without any difficulty or torching whatsoever. I'll have to ask him for the method because no way am I spending all weekend burning out the old crap.

I am in for a mini Tech day. i am also willing to host if we need a location (Northeast Raleigh/Rolesville)

my list consists of basically ALL fluids as the car is 14 yrs old and i cannot verify any fluids have been changed.

i dont have any of the presses, but i do have a 2.5 car garage.
