Default Need Help with Fluid Changes - Richmond/Tri-City

Located in Chester, VA but I just got back into another S2000 (2005 NFR, OEM Hardtop with 19k miles) and I have decided that instead of taking the car to the dealership and worrying whether they are servicing the car correctly, I want to learn how to do the basic stuff such as MTF fluid changes, differential fluid changes, and oil changes.

I am looking for someone who can help show me how to do this stuff and also point out what tools I will need. Send me a message if you are interested in helping and I am willing to buy some beers afterwards Thanks in advance.

I service correctly. Maybe too correctly But like you said, if you like to learn how to change out fluid yourself, I'm sure many of us is here to help you out.
Main thing is timing and location. Couple special pump tool is helpful to refill manual fluids and rear diff fluid. I would be willing to help out.
Let me know. I recommended OEM parts though
I do live in Severn MD which is 2.5 hrs away from you BUT I'll be in Richmond all next week for Honda Training School. PM me if you're interested in doing it next week.

Nice grab on the car btw

They're all very easy to do. Very easy. Just look over the DIYs in this forum and then give it a try! And it definitely saves you money and gives you peace of mind.

I looked over the DIY and I am still a little fearful. Can I buy ramps to do the fluid changes and what are some standard safety operating procedures? I have always been a type of person to learn visually so I prefer an experienced person to teach me. Anyways, on a side note who does a great job detailing in Richmond? I need to get rid of these swirl marks
