So the big news is that I am expecting a baby from my future wife in the next 8 months. With the days of my nights at the bars with all my drinking buddies are now numbered I am looking forward to the otherside of things to come in my life now. One major hurdle is what am I going to do with my other woman... my s2000. I love her so much and shes been soooo good to me... I thought I would have her forever. But unexpected plans sometimes call for unexpected decisions and now Im left pondering the fate of my beautiful GPW. I took a hit on her from the stealership knowingly, but I also ditched one POS Ford that cost me 3 transmissions and nearly a new engine... I expected to keep the s2000 for good so what she was worth was not a concern to me. I did not expect to be getting married, let alone having a child sooo soon. So what should I do... should I wait and see how the situation comes down and see if I have room for 2 women in my life or should I go ahead and get rid of the s2000 (probably getting reamed on another car). I make OK money at my current job, I know my income is only going to go up... but unfortunately Im not a doctor or dentist so my money doesnt come easy.

 

if the future wife has a car that seats more than 2 you are golden...

I agree, if not. Then keep the S and buy a 4door civic as a DD.

 

I am getting married exactly 2 months from today and my future wife has a 2 1/2 year old. She drives an Explorer and I drive the S2K. There has been no mention of me getting rid of the car, in fact she has encouraged me to keep it for awhile.

Hate Me... we will be getting married on the EXACT SAME DAY!! August 20th. Im getting cold feet so I might try to push it back, just to know for sure. I dont want to feel like me and her are rushing into anything.

 

I've got a four year old and an eight year old. My wife actually convinced me to trade my EP3 hatch for the S 2000. Maybe it was to make up for having to live in a house with three girls and all that estrogen. Geez, you've only got one kid coming. I guess it all boils down to how understanding your wife is about your love of the S 2000. Good luck with your wedding and the birth of your child. Oh, and good luck keeping your car.

I completely understand where you are coming from man; I am very much in love though and I have no intention of stopping the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me...second to buying my first S2K
