I agree, TP's sound too ricey.

I'm happy with my $ 40.00 mod....and so is the wife.

I think that is part of the problem.I had my resonator removed a few moths ago. Maybe I should put it back on.

How to compress springs, I took a pair of vise-grips and opened them nearly ALL the way until I could get the grips over the top of the bolt/spring and underneath the lip of the TP and squeezed until I had enough thread showing to get the nut on. I dont think my TP sounds ricey at all, I think it sounds like the S2k should from factory... but thats just my opinion.

Thanks.My method was more complicated. I'll do that when I put the cat back on.

I dont think you will need vice-grips to put the Cat. back on... only to put the test pipe on will you need them. But should it give you a hell of a time... break'em out.
