Default Isle of Palms

I was down there for some kind of a conference and was shocked at how expensive the hotels were. I didn't realize Charleston area is so expensive. Wild Dunes was a nice place but even during this off-season, it is still expensive. And I didn't see one S2K while I was down there driving around in my rental car.

Yeah....tell me about it! I've got a "girls beach weekend" planned for 16 people in March, and even with winter rates, it's about $2200 for 3 nights for a 6-bedroom oceanfront rental.

Nice place, though!
Well thats not too expensive, it is the equivilent of getting 6 rooms at 122 per night. Still pretty high for the cold/cooler months on a beach tho. I would not even want to know what that place goes for in July.

there are a few S2ks down here. Depending on when you were here mine might have still been in the shop, but we do have our share, you just don't see them regularly....
