Default Just got Cusco 3 Piece Chassis Bars

After searching with no results, I posted a topic under S2000 Modifications and Parts asking about installation procedures for the Cusco 3 piece chassis bar.

Here's the linky:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=561133

Was wondering if any of you know the answers to my questions or if any of you have experience installing these? I'm planning on installing them on Friday in Ermo, SC, unless someone has access to a lift... I would like to post up pics of the install and offer a DIY on it as well. Could use some help if any of you are interested.

Thanks for looking : )

Hi, Graham!

I've got one installed on my S...unfortunately it has been 3-4 yrs since I put it on.

I just put the car up on jack stands and slithered under the car and bolted it in place. You shouldn't need any additional bolts to do the install...I think .

The horizontal bar goes toward the rear, with the long bars pointing to the front. I don't remember which way is 'up'...without crawling under the car, but I think it only fits one way .

The whole install took about 10 min...once I got my lard-ass squeezed under the car. Obviously, if you have access to a lift, then that would be even better.

Nice. Are you sure that the horizontal bar (the shorter one) goes towards the rear? I thought it went towards the front like in this pic...

This is how my set up will look when I'm done Friday, I hope. My main concern is that the bolts are already there and I don't haveta go out and buy the proper sized bolts. If this is the case, then the total time to install both parts should be around 30 minutes or so.

Old-timers it was !

The horizontal part does go to the front...just like your picture shows.

Sorry for the faulty recall !
