I've got a MEGA-Promotion between SunCom and Cinema 6 today. We are doing LOFTR memorabilia giveaways and FREE Chick-fil-A with refreshments. I'm supposed to pick up the all-new Envoy XUV after 10am. This will be our promo vehicle for the event. First showing here at 4:25 and then another at 8:25. It's expected to draw in close to 700 people!

Are you crazy? You stayed up all night and went to work? I'd be sleeping at work right now!

Of course, I like to think that 5:00 only comes once a day... and that's a great time because I'm on my way home from work!

Yep. Went to the midnight showing, got home at 4am. Had 3 options:

1): go to bed. go immediately to bed. do not pass go, do not collect $200. Get ~3 hours sleep, get to work by 8, suffer until 5pm

2): go to bed. sleep 'till whenever (probibly only 9am or so), take 1/2 day vacation and go to work after lunch

3): grab a shower, head to waffle house for some breakfast and LOTS of coffee, then head to work. Go home for the day at lunch. Crash.

Option 3 worked out pretty good.

Well, I guess if you can go home at lunch, that's not too bad...

With previews and the movie, how long do you have to sit in the theater? I really want to see this movie, but I get really antsy when I'm in a theater too long.

You know, it's funny how people are. Since we are a big time promoter of Cinema 6 in New Bern (we, meaning SunCom), people (5 so far) have come in to ask me about buying advance tickets. So far, I've agreed to buy 4 tickets for two seperate customers. I've never experienced something like this before and we've held several movie promos.
