Default Manufacturer's Spies???

Do any of you guys know if there is any truth to people having factory warranty support issues due to posts on this site? I haven't done a lot of searching on the subject, but it makes me wonder how much we should protect our anonymity.

That seems to be a pretty common assumption. Can't say it is true or not but it would make sense. If you were faced with a bunch of $6k bills and wanted to pay as few of them as possible you'd make sure you look on the internet for some dirt on the claimants. Wouldn't you?

Well... unless you post pics showing your car's licence plates, a description of the abuse inflicted upon it, the dealer you bought it from, your real name or other personally identifying information I don't really see how it's possible.
