Carolina S2K Folks!

I'd like to get something organized for an S2K Drive & Lunch. I'm thinking something similar to my2ks2k's BRPD (Blue Ridge Parkway Drive) where we pack our lunch, drive, have a picnic and drive back.

I'm thinking we can start on Sunday morning...maybe head out on some back roads. I can start looking at some areas for this...and maybe scout it out. Maybe something around Lake Norman? Lake Wylie? Seems like those would be a nice area to visit, picnic and drive. Great for socializing and grabbing some pictures.

We'll leave no later than 10:30AM for the drive.

Please have your lunch cooler or rquivalent packed and ready. We'll find a suitable picnic spot after the drive.

This would be great, i suggest Jetton park in cCornelius on Lake Norman. Ample parking, and a few great areas for pictures. There is also a pavilion that can be rented if we so choose.

There is also a Brooster's ice cream shop (two minutes away) that always has local car clubs driving in. If you are specifically interested in a place let me know and I can see whats available.

The only issue is, I don't know of any great drives around here.

And, if we changed the date to Saturday we could incorporate a brewery tour as well up around Mooresville.

we can try to put something together locally around here if you want jake. we have a lot of car guys in our area, and quite a few S' but not many are on here
