Default Mono flex vs Flex?

I wanted to ask my local s2k owners this question, ive been offered a set of tein flex coilovers with edfc for $1050 shipped and just wanna know if i should get them or should i look for some mono-flex coilovers instead. I want tein for the edfc and i have heard very good things about them, but for track use will there be a big difference between the mono-flex and the regular flex's?

Thanks guys!

mono's are much more linear...if you are going to plan on tracking, I personally would go with 10/10kg f/r in the monoflexs.

I've got a running thread over in Brakes and Suspension about the Skunk2 Pro-Cs (made especially and exclusively for the s2000 now, monotube, 10/10, $300 cheaper than the Teins). Only reviews I've seen with those so far are from the civic comm. (the older gen Pro-Cs) and they seem to have been showing good results.

Mono spring rates are 12k/10k, are lighter and valved better. Rebound adjustment I'd more noticeable as well.

Flex spring rates 10k/12k and are still an excellent choice I ran these for awhile an loved them.

If I did it again I would do the mono's or better.

U sure, teins site only offers 12/10. But realistically u can do custom spring rates on anything. To OP I have no experience with buddy club coilovers.
